2005-06-01 From 3 to 1 - MiCLAS. at IFE

The IFE Aufbereitungs GmbH is developed as a management-buy-out of the Knorr-Bremse AG with office in Waidhofen an der Ybbs in Austria. The company is a worldwide well-kown and leading producer of machines and components for the bulk-cargo industry. The company is with its vibration-conveyor, sieving-machine and magnetic separator since more then 50 years as producer for robust and reliable machines accepted and much valued.

Because of dissociation of the “big” parent-company the combination from AS400, SAP as far as further isolated-applications is proved as too complex, so that the company looked around for an alternative, which makes possible a complex process-control without the overhead of a group-solution. It was one of the most important requirments to take over the data from all old systems.

After a longer search the company found the ideal partner in ERP4all to realize these targets. The open and high-flexible structure of our MiCLAS. database was the importanst requirement for the integration of equal data from different and independent sources. The extremely good cost-performance-ratio as far as the functionality of MiCLAS. for future company-extensions were then only the famous dot on the i.

During the period of implementation the connection of an ultramodern and full-automatical high-rack-warehous parallel to SAP (simultaneous use of the storage with IFE Door Systems) proved as necessary and could realized on time.

The live-start is planned for the year-end, at the beginning 25 user will use MiCLAS. continiously for all business-processes includigng the complex production-control.
